01 / CHECK
Inspect the part
Measure agreed features with CMM and the methods specified for the project.
BLESS / CNC Machining
BLESS provides CNC machining for aluminum castings, including plane milling, drilling, threads and finishing of installation and mating surfaces. Casting and machining are reviewed as one component project.
Casting establishes the basic component shape. CNC machining addresses the drawing-defined features that need additional work, such as mating faces, bores and threads. Datums and dimensional requirements should be marked on the drawing.
Tooling, material, manufacturing suitability and inspection requirements are confirmed against your drawing.
| Review item | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Machining content | Plane milling, drilling and thread machining |
| Critical surfaces | Installation faces, mating faces and specified bores |
| Starting point | Customer drawing, revision and technical requirements |
| Inspection | CMM and agreed dimensional checks |
| Timing | Confirmed per project |
Manufacturing requirements, inspection scope and timing are confirmed per project.
BLESS uses CMM, spectrometry, tensile testing and NDT. The drawing and agreed acceptance criteria define the inspection scope.
01 / CHECK
Measure agreed features with CMM and the methods specified for the project.
02 / RECORD
Material, dimensional and mechanical-property reports can accompany the order.
03 / PROTECT
Discuss packaging and handling requirements for the finished components.
04 / RELEASE
Confirm destination, packaging, requested records and project-specific timing.

Explore this familyYes. Casting establishes the basic component shape; CNC machining may be specified for features such as mating faces, bores and threads. Mark these requirements on the drawing, including datums and dimensional requirements, so casting and machining can be discussed as one project.
Provide a drawing with its revision, the intended application, estimated order quantity and project stage. Identify the required material specification, critical dimensions, machining, surface requirements and inspection records. If an item is undecided, mark it for discussion rather than assuming a standard specification.
State the alloy designation and applicable standard if your design already specifies them. List critical dimensions, surface conditions and the checks or records you require. Material availability, manufacturing suitability and the inspection scope need to be confirmed for the individual project.
Tell us what the part must do. A clear first reply should explain what we can confirm, and what we still need from you.
