01 / CHECK
Inspect the part
Measure agreed features with CMM and the methods specified for the project.
BLESS / Surface Finishing
BLESS provides painting and powder coating within its aluminum component production route. The project specification defines which surfaces are coated, protected or left for assembly.
Surface requirements should be discussed alongside casting and machining. Identify visible faces, mating interfaces and areas that must remain protected so the agreed finishing scope can be included in the project plan.
Tooling, material, manufacturing suitability and inspection requirements are confirmed against your drawing.
| Review item | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Available processes | Painting and powder coating |
| Project input | Drawing-defined surface and appearance requirements |
| Protected areas | Confirmed on the drawing and project specification |
| Related work | Casting and CNC machining coordinated in the same route |
| Timing | Confirmed per project |
Manufacturing requirements, inspection scope and timing are confirmed per project.
BLESS uses CMM, spectrometry, tensile testing and NDT. The drawing and agreed acceptance criteria define the inspection scope.
01 / CHECK
Measure agreed features with CMM and the methods specified for the project.
02 / RECORD
Material, dimensional and mechanical-property reports can accompany the order.
03 / PROTECT
Discuss packaging and handling requirements for the finished components.
04 / RELEASE
Confirm destination, packaging, requested records and project-specific timing.

Identify the required material specification, critical dimensions, machining, surface requirements and inspection records. If an item is undecided, mark it for discussion rather than assuming a standard specification.
State the alloy designation and applicable standard if your design already specifies them. List critical dimensions, surface conditions and the checks or records you require. Material availability, manufacturing suitability and the inspection scope need to be confirmed for the individual project.
Clarify the drawing revision, quantities, sample approval requirements, inspection records, packaging and requested delivery destination. Ask for project-specific confirmation of commercial terms and timing. A requested delivery date should not be treated as a confirmed lead time.
Tell us what the part must do. A clear first reply should explain what we can confirm, and what we still need from you.
